Design and build a vessel for the cultivation of a plant, or plants that attaches to the interior or exterior of a building in a meaningful way.
The vessel is made at 1:1 scale.
The Vessel must hold a volume of soil/substrate sufficient to grow a plant.
The vessel is made of
- Non woven textile (provided in class)
- (1) recycled material from BRING RECYCLING (selected on field trip tomorrow)
- Fasteners from BRING RECYCLING (selected on field trip tomorrow)
- Adhesives and Stitching as needed
Produce one concept sketch showing the vessel in an idealized location and form. Use a photograph or rendering of a building as a canvas/base image. This is the only design drawing required for this exercise
